So I started the Darkbrotherhood quests with anoher character who is evil and one of the first 3 people I was told to kill was Narfi from Ivarstead. I had done a quest relating to this guy on my main character build.

I take it if I kill him that quest won't be open to me anymore and I didn't get a warning that if I kill him I'll lose out on another aspect of the game. So I stopped playing the DB quest because I don't want to miss out on other stuff.

Is every character that the DB sends you to kill important in someway? Or do they all have quests involved?


Also, a dragon attacked Ivarstead and killed a woman I was doing a quest for. That was annoying now I can't complete it. She wanted me to find her husband's booze stash.


And I was meant to take some unusal gems to a guy in Riften but it seems I talked to him before and pissed him off. All he keeps saying is "You're not worth my time, piss off!"

Have you guys come across things like this that ruin your chance to really play the whole game?
I find it really annoying.

Luckily for me, dragons almost never attack towns.

i personally have not come across this specific problem.

do these missed side quests matter in the big scheme of things? no they don't.
