Dark Brotherhood Letter

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 12:59 am

I received the letter really quick on my main character but with my second one I can't seem to get it, it's been ages. I couldn't find any decent answer by google because everyone says the same obvious things that has already been done such as
- Kill the old lady, and report back to Aventus Arentino.
- Sleep (doesn't work)
- Go in a building wait for an hour then leave (doesn't work)
- Do quests and stuff LOL (been aaggeeeees and still no sign of the courier)
- Looking at the couriers codes and spawning them next to you (doesn't work)
I've even went around town shouting randomly cause the wiki says it increases the chance of the courier coming.
Is there a code or something to initiate it?
A code to get the mail or starte the quest maybe?
Or any other ways?

I don't think moderators on this site appreciate spoilers in the General section. You should have posted this at: http://www.gamesas.com/forum/178-skyrim-cheats-hints-and-spoilers/.

Why would people click on topics that they know there will be spoilers in it anyway? "Oh loook, something about the dark brotherhood, I sure didn't do that before so I will check it out then complain about spoilers".

Because this is the General Discussion forum....

Since you seem not to care about spoiling things for others, I guess we shouldn't care about helping you.

Perhaps because as you enter the general forum there's a big sticky saying "DON'T POST SPOILERS IN GENERAL!".

Most people seem to think that it's quite easy to understand those simple directions and should be able to enter threads without worrying wether it's full of spoilers or not, but alas, people like you seem to be an exception.

Does that answer your rhetorical question?

Are you actualy telling people to read and use common sense when you just failed at those big time yourself? There is a spoilers section, the rules are 100% clear on where spoilers belong on these boards. General discussion is for non-spoilerish stuff. And if you must spoil on general discussion you should at the very least have the decency to put spoiler tags on the spoiler.

Even though this has now been moved to the appropriate sub forum, I agree with everyone above.

To get the letter you need to ...
Spoiler
... stop posting spoilers in the General Discussion subforum.

TC, you must help Cicero in front of Lorentius Farm. He is loggygagging around while waiting for his wagon wheel to be fixed by a grumpy dude, who sits idly by on a chair outside the farm. Talk to the character and get him to fix Cicero's wheel.

And I wonder who's casket that is, weighing down Cicero's wagon, causing it to buckle and break? You might have an inkling...

Never did I do this, and I was approached by the courier.

LOL you all are so bad...

@ OP: I didn't even wait for the letter on one of my toons. Just sleep in a secluded place somewhere.
