What would you add to the mix?

i'll add destruction, enchanting and eventually block

I would add healing.

I'll catch hell for this, but add Speech. Clerics should be well spoken and able to talk their way out of trouble.

-Illusion (Fear)

May i suggest a derivative "blackguard" build with block and 1HE instead.

Cleric-paladin-blackguard. The classic fall from grace. The blunt becomes a blade in the middle. (also from a compatability point of view - 2handers mesh horribly with spell schools because you have to take away your offense to cast.)
