Just had to put the disclaimer in: My monitor is fairly high quality, and properly calibrated.

I'm not sure if it's some video option, but it seems to be related to the "natural lighting". Basically depending on which angle the sun is hitting something, the opposite side becomes unrealistically dark. I think the lighting effect looks great when it hits the side of my horse, but to have the opposite side of a brown horse measure almost black is unrealistic.

Is this just the graphics engine or a video option I have enabled?
