Dawnguard Armor sets : V

One thing I am looking forward to is the new armored sets offered as part of the Dawnguard faction.

First, is what seems to be a set of light armor.

Hardened leather over a shirt, with leather gloves?

Next is what seems to be a heavy set.

What do you think? Any ideas as to what these sets are actually made of.

Personally I like the look of the light armor set.

You're most likely right. Light armor set upgradable by leather.

Im waiting for the return of crossbows. Yay!! In morrowind my character woild use a Spear a Crossbow and two handed sword, true ranger.

I wonder if the person in the first pic is holding a new restoration spell. Anyway, the armor sets looks amazing.

the other armors are meh but this armor looks really nice im glad we get new armors to spice things up a bit i'm thinking of wearing new armor for my khajhit because ebony and daedric look evil and he's good i am thinking of using dwarven right now

Huh, I never noticed before but those look like new weapons too... a different style of warhammer in the heavy armor pic, and the horseman is wielding a different style of war axe.

But yeah, the armor looks pretty good. I'm glad it's not too bulky looking.

I wonder if there'll be some form of heavy armour, or if we'll have to wait for another DLC for that.

I like both sets, very cool looking and somewhat natural. After looking at glass, daedric, and dragon, I'll be glad to see some more "historic" looking armor that is also somewhat higher level. If thats what this is, it is fantastic

To me they look like the same set, but for different sixes.

That helmet is gonna look sick with a set of steel plate.

Considering Lord Harkon is wearing Light Armor in the trailer, that armor is if nothing else at least unique to Lord Harkon but tells you the coolest look for your vampire is likely going to require Light Armor, without knowing its a assumption of course.

Then you look at the Vamire Lord, a heavy casting transformation that stacks your characters magicka with a nice 50 magicka boost from Power to the Grave. A spellsword or battle Mage would be my personal pick for Vampire Lord.

Take a look at the press photos with the spectral horse.. I'm pretty sure that character is wearing a new set of robes.

What I most want out of Dawnguard:

-Exemplary writing in an interwoven quest line that can intrigue me at every turn.

There are actually two variations of this armor. One has a single shoulder pad and the other has two. You can see the one with the single shoulderpad in the beggining of the E3 Gameplay previews when the dragonborn is entering the DG castle

but other characters can become a vampire lord too and there hasn't been any talk on new spells only weapons and armor I mean come on mages are really starting to get repetitive at least with warriors/assassins you can mix your weapons up with mages in stuck using incinerate and dremora lords because everything else svcks
