Dawnguard assumption

As the title say this is my assumption that werewolves will play a part in the new dlc, my reasoning for this is when signing up for the beta it asks if your a vampire but also if you are a werewolf, what are your views on this?

Maybe people who play a werewolf won't be eligible?

I'm guessing they'll focus on vampires for this one, and perhaps a future DLC will centre around Hircine and his beasties.

I don't think they would do that though because you could still fight with the dawnguard

Possibly any Werewolf players will be offered a cure in order to let them join the Vampire Faction...I'd be a shame for a player to be excluded from half of the DLC due to an earlier choice. I'd imagine many would like to play BOTH sides to get the full experience by reloading their character before the decision. Personally, ALL VAMPIRES MUST DIE...ahem..well, I'm a GOOD guy who cured himself of Werewolfitus after the guilt of killing a Whiterun guard on his first change got the better of him...I don't want to become another monster.

They will want to test the beta with characters in a number of different situations to get the maximum "coverage" of scenarios. So that means that they will want players who are werewolves to see how that interacts with different things. I wouldn't draw any conclusions as to content.

Hm. Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but some of the shots in the trailer reminded me of the Underworld series. In particular the more powerful beasties you see later on. I wouldn't mind a little of both.

If you've ever seen the second Underworld film, you'll know that the vampire elder Marcus was able to take the form of a hideous winged vampire almost identical to the one seen in the trailer, and was able to do so due to him having consumed Lycan blood during his hibernation, making him a hybrid.

If Beth copied more than just the design, then maybe the key to becoming a flying vampire lord is to first be a werewolf.

Exactly. No one seems to understand that this is why they did it. They might want to check to see if being a werewolf affects any quests.

Werewolves get a few abilities like calling werewolves to help you with a howl and getting more health by feeding stuff like that.

Some of the dawnguard may be werewolves, but I doubt that we will be forced to become either vampire or werewolf.

They are adding the perk tree for one thing, and they probably have a new way to become cured of it. Beyond that, it is a complete mystery as to whether there will be anything besides that in Dawnguard for werewolves.
