Want a chance to play Dawnguard early? Following the success of our PC beta updates, we're excited to announce our Dawnguard Beta for Xbox 360.

Visit http://beta.elderscrolls.com/ to apply. The process should only take a couple minutes, but make sure to fill out all the information accurately. Applicants need a http://www.gamesas.com/ and you'll want to make sure your forum email address is updated.

We will be selecting applicants in about a week. Players accepted into the beta will receive an Xbox LIVE code to redeem Dawnguard. The beta is the full version (complete with Xbox LIVE achievements) and those participating will not have to purchase the content.

Thanks again for your continued support of Skyrim!

NOTE: If you accidentally signed up for the beta before joining the forum, you may want to sign up for the Beta again using the same email address, which will delete your previous entry and replace it with the new one.

they did indeed

Well okay then, anyone know if it defaulted to US... as I may have screwed that up, cause I really don't remember being asked. :bonk:

Anyway if they did ask that, maybe it was to make sure they are getting people from North America, doesn't really mean the beta is international.

"well be sending info to applicants early this week."

that means two things, either theyve already picked or theyve already picked and have picked alot of people as they said applicants not winners or testers. Could there be EVERYBODY in the beta!

i really can't imagine them doing that, no one would blame them for saying " US Only"

So is it possible that everyone who signed up for the beta will get in, considering the latest update from Beth blog said something along the lines of sending information to the applicants early this week. I wonder how high the turnout for the beta application was. Did Bethesda have enough people for everyone who signed up or was the limit not reached in terms of applicants? I wonder. Here's hoping we get some statistics on the beta sign up. That would be most interesting indeed.

It would be awesome if we all got in the beta, but I do not think that is what they mean.

Still it would be interesting to know how many signed up.

it was advertised at every major, and minor gaming website, including my country's tabloid news website. there should be thousands of applications so the answer is obvious

Maybe not as many people signed up for the beta as we think they did. I mean this is all speculation on the quote the Beth blog gave us but my hope is that a large majority at least of the applicants got into the beta. :)

Microsoft doesn't give a damn about their community, the only thing that matters to them is money. They're a business, not a charity organization.

To be on-topic with the thread, I'd love it if I could start infecting non-essential NPC's...

Let me recruit for the Vamps.

That would be sweet.

First person I would do that to is that racist guy in Windhelm. He needs to become non-essential now. See how he likes being hated.
