Welp... cheers to those who Bethesda decided to give the beta to (seriously, after getting triple-glitched by the still broken Blood on the Ice quest and losing nearly 100 hours on restarts, I ought to have 2 invites though).

With such a small number picked what are the odds they will get one or two people who actually cared about improving the game instead of just getting free DLC. If it was 5 percent I could see a ton of bugs fixed.

Although this sounds nitpicky there is a thread with over 800 bugs in the Technical section and few of them ever get fixed. Though maybe we will finally get the massive patch to fix many of them with Dawnguard.

Still they should have picked a larger test base to ensure the highest quality possible for Dawngaurds launch.

On the Bethblog it clearly says: "Lucky fans began receiving emails tonight from “The Elder Scrolls”, and we’ll be done completing the deployment tomorrow." meaning they will be send some more today, it's only 5 AM were BS is right now.

At 35-38 people that got in the beta cost Bethesda between $525-$570 Dollars in lost revenue or basically chump change when your game made you over 500 million in profit.

I cant believe they picked so few with all the money they have. Just the fact that only .005 of the applicants getting picked makes me cringe.

I understand our chances were slim to get in on this project and I am still holding on to the tiniest bit of hope. Still, it would have been exciting to help beta test Bethesda's dlc and to be able to say, one day, that I had a part in helping make the game better. To all of the lucky ones that got e-mails so far, congratulations!

Not really because since yhe answer is US only and they never said it all international players would get upset. I'm questioning getting the dlc just because they did that

That's what I think they did. All the beta guys I asked were American. I asked Gstaff so he runs away. Pete hines avoids the question from Stordrage by saying he wasn't involved in picking. It is pretty obvious that they aren't saying anything even though the beta is out because all the international players would be pissed. They are going to do other betas for the next dlcs. They'll be US only again. I'm sick of not getting a straight answer. All they need to do is say yes or no.
