Scottish :3 *gives you E-cookie* it was obscure reference from a television show called Darkplace!
Not all that obscure, it makes me think off Black Books haha "Would you hurry up and pay the Scotchman."

I'm always like "It's what we drink not what we are D:"

Dude, just wait till the release date....

yeah, but then I have to drop $20, lol. Plus I'm an impatient bastard. Fortunetly I heard the tentative realse date is the 26th. I just hope they stick to that and don't post pone for bug fixes. I'm lucky enough to rarely run into them in beth games (despite throughly exploring and putting 100+ hours into each one I've played), so I'm one of those that would rather get a buggy release and have more content now than wait.

damn it, I'm kind of ticked with how this beta was set up. How do they contact you? By regular (ie not PMs) email? Does that email have to be linked to a forum account? As far as I can tell I didn't get in yet, but I can't be sure. Because of having to change passwords when the forum got hacked (which was irritating enough to begin with. Its not like theres any supper important info in our accounts) and subsequently forgetting passwords I have about 3 accounts on here, all variations of the same name. AND I can't remeber what info we had to give for sign up. Was it just email and gamertag? Did it have us sign in through the forum? I love beth but I really wish they were better at communicating.
It was your gamertag and the e-mail address you use for this forum, if you can't remember it's your loss. You wouldn't be complaining about the setup if you knew you got picked.

Y'know, I've lost a lot of hype discovering how unlikely it is that I'll get in, but I'll still probably end up staying awake until they send out the remaining codes XD

They shouldn't have said you get the dlc for free until after testers were chosen.... Then they would gave gotten more people who would actually post about bugs.

From what people are saying, people are actually reporting bugs. Which makes me feel a heckuva lot better.

This. Most people signed up because they saw the word "free", but won't actually beta test the content.

Huh. I don't recall the application asking for a gamertag either of the two times that I sent one in.

Agreed. Can't imagine how many are actually there to post bugs rather than just play.

I'm probably mistaken... Might have just asked if I played on the Xbox, point still stands regardless.

Y'know, beta doesn't stand for anything, it doesn't need to be capitalized.

And if you don't make it, you don't make it. Two weeks isn't much wait.

They said it would be Shivering Isles sized or bigger.

Erm, no they didn't. They said it would be bigger than Knights of the Nine, but smaller than Shivering Isles. They also said that it's worth 10-20 hours of gameplay, though they didn't specify if that includes both sides or just one, or if it includes additional sidequests or just the main faction lines. I don't have my HDD handy to check Oblivion's DLC, but I'd wager a guess that Dawnguard will be <1 GB in total file size. If I recall correctly, SI was only around 1.1 GB, and that was a completely new land mass with tons of dungeons and such. Seems like Dawnguard will have far fewer new locations, with the Soul Cairn being the only confirmed new land mass.
