Not sure if a bug but

Not getting quest to turn wife into vamp, have heard others with muiri have same problem ...

Same thing happened to me. Except i'm losing health too. I uploaded a video to show what it looks like. I've tried leaving the soul cairn. Doing all the different quests there. All while healing myself and leaving a healing spell in one of my hands while I cast an attack spell to kill the monster. This effect has been following me right before I entered the soul cairn. Figured it would go away by completing the quests. Nope. I still have this swirly essence around me while my health is being drained and no negative stats pop up on my active effects menu.

Cannot sell the three elder scrolls after completing the dlc MQ for the Volkihar (I had to buy back the Dragon ES from the Orc at Winterhold College).Vingalmo is no longer giving me quests even though all the other vampires are telling me to see him for one.Vampire Lord form Red Ball of Death hits like a wet noodle with Serena as a follower,without her it works fine.

I think that Bethesda can patch this DLC, but they'd have to redo the DLC itself and upload it onto the marketplace, rather than release a patch which would conflict with the vanillia version of skyrim, as there would be people who may ot have downloaded dawnguard.

This means we'd have to redownload the (now patched) DLC again, but I wouldn't mind if that were the only solution. It would be much more worth it than having a seriously buggy add on, which is a shame as it is a fun addition.

Does anyone know a time frame on this DLC being fixed?
I mean it seems like one of those occasions where everyone is having an issue with the DLC.

I just created an account so I could post a minor bug that seems to bother me. If you were a Werewolf before becoming a Vampire Lord, in your General Stats menu the days for being a Werewolf AND a Vampire will BOTH increase as days pass by.

Nothing game breaking but it is a minor bug nonetheless.

But the graphics back to the original setting at release, the graphics (draw distance) look pathetic now. Why ruin your own game? Looks like my Skyrim has a lot of pollution in the air.

Yet another Serana glitch:

Completing the Daedric Quest: The Break of Dawn, will cause Serana to vanish from existence.

Majority of bugs added, some were either not specific enough that I didn't know where to add them or some I can't be sure there bugs related to Dawnguard. If your bug was not added, please post and I will discuss why it was not and maybe see about getting it added.

Not a controller issue, it happens with different controllers.

I just killed 8 thalmor thugs at the embassy and looted all their armor to sell--As I try to sell the boots and gauntlets the cursor moves from

Boots (8) (Sell 1) Cursor "jumps" to

Gauntlets (8) (Sell 1)

Cursor jumps back to

Boots (7) (Sell 1)
to
Gauntlets (7)

And so on and so on until all boots and gauntlets are sold.

This happens with unrelated items as well. I think it has to do with how the list is sorted. If not in alphabetical order, I think the cursor still moves to the loot in alpha order, thus the "jump." Probelm is, sometimes the "jump" lands the cursor on something I don't want to sell. Hope this helps.

(I sell this stuff one pair at a time hoping it gans me more experience)

Question on the 4th piece of the Dwemer Artifact. Is the quest supposed to direct me to the last ruin? Because I did not get a quest arrow directing me to the last piece. This is my first time playing this quest, so I don't know if it's a bug or the way the quest is written. Please advise.

I pray these bugs get patched on my Vampire mage. Finally made a mage that is great and I've been trying to do that since Day 1 of skyrim. Just ashame I may lose Serana forever as a follower cause my VL form is getting drained of its powers I thought the whole point of a beta test was to stop these kinda bugs from happening. Considering your list Coby that you and others have put together you think the beta test was a alpha test.

On bug/glitch related: Not sure if it is one but Serana seems to disappear and reappear in spots around the Vampire Castle when she isn't a follower. I was trying to show my friend Serana and it took like 3-5 mins to find her.

Edit: Despite the many bugs I've greatly enjoyed Dawnguard's storyline. Been nice being a Vampire.

Serana killed Erindir in his place of business. I didn't see if he attacked her or what. Suddenly there was noise a crash and he was dead. Has this or something similar happened to anyone else?

Conjuring an ally overwrites shouts where you summon an ally... Example, you summon Durnehviir then summon a Daedra Lord or Atronach and it will remove Durnehviir leaving you with a huge shout cooldown and nothing to show for it....

This may be intended though, as not to have to many creatures summoned at one time...

I think that if you have been cured before of vampirisim if you get re infected in dawnguard you still have the old vampire eyes and not the new ones like in the tralier i tested it out my self

Considering you can have a Follower, a Dog, your Follower can reanimate the dead or summon an ally, then you can summon up to 2 allys as well.... I doupt it besides this did not happen before Dawnguard~ I could do the above and have a shout summon as well~

P.S: The game is already extremely easy, even on Master and flying solo.

Preemptive Strike Bug

Master Vampire will spawn into the wall and disappear. I had to got outside to skyrim and reenter dungeon to get him to relocate back to the bedroom. Same thing happened a number of times. I finally had to wait until he exited the bedroom before attacking him. This worked, he did not spawn into the wall.

I had a dog with me on this quest. At one point, I sent the dog home and the Master Vampire would not come out of the bedroom. I had to reload and have the dog with me for the Master Vampire to come out of the bedroom to be killed.

Lost to the Ages

Game did not spawn a quest marker for the fourth piece of the mechanism. Don't know if this is written into the game or a bug.

I currently have two versions of the new Drain Vitality shout. One using the words for Marked for Death (that get unlocked along with Marked for Death) and the other with the proper words.

Type of Bug: Gameplay
Description of Bug: While attempting to mine Iron in Embershard Mine, the camera will switch to 3rd person view and shortly afterwards, revert to your default view without mining any Iron Ore. The Ore location will still say Press (button) to Mine Iron Ore Vein, but pressing the button results in nothing happening.
Anything Else: Just started a new character, and went to Embershard Mine straight from Riverwood (Imperial Legion route).

Note: I am fairly sure that this is due to Dawnguard, as I've never seen this happen before getting the dlc.

Edit: After reloading 6 times, all but 2 of them were mine-able.

Bartering Glitch with Sorine Jurard

- Sorine's barter amount is 750
- If you train with her (Archery) the training septim amount is added to her barter amount total...
- But she will only ever have 750 septims for trading
- Her new total will still show the increased amount but only 750 will be available for trade.
- Thus, she'll continue to accept your items but your total will not increase, nor will hers decrease.
- In my game her total now shows 8113 septims
- I have to stop trading when her total reaches 7363. Otherwise I'm just giving items away.

I only noticed after trading what seemed like 4K+ worth of gear...but only profited 750.

I just killed
Durnehviir and i went outside and he was suppost to talk to me but i didnt know he was i shot him he didnt die nor talked to me so i left and went to skyrim messing around out in skyrim and i read i needed to talk to

Durnehviir but when i went back to where i seen him he wasent there nor was he to the west on the word wall is this a glitch i really want the acheviment for the shouts and i want the new shouts but i cant unless i can find him and talk to him. so i waited over 5 in game days and still no dragon so is there a certain location he is located or is his a glitch if it is please fix please!!! thank you.

Equipt the Pickaxe and attack the ore mine much faster.

I have to reboot approx every hour as my 360 slim either locks up totally (even the power button does not work), or the game gets so laggy that impossible to continue. Also loading screens now take up to 3 mins to load sometimes, it is really bad !!!

360 Slim, Skyrim installed on HD, Dawnguard Installed , all patches up to date .

I am so close to uninstalling Dawnguard as never had a lag issue before I installed it, have tried new game, reinstall, everything, no joy !!

I hope they fix this soon as I love Skyrim, but this is making the game a nightmare to try and play


Also dont have Aela as wife and companion when you become a Vampire Lord, or she will attack you *s*
