So I just watched another Machinima video interview with Matt Carephano the lead artist on Skyrim (I hope I spelled that right) and in it he discusses the locations of the vampire stronghold and the dawnguard stronghold. Now he wasn't really at all specific on the "exact" location but the Vampire stronghold is going to be off the coast of Skyrim in the northern reaches of the ice glaciers. Judging from the winter-like castle in the trailer I'm guessing that it is going to be located somewhere near the college of Winterhold. As for the dawnguard, they're Stronghold is going to be located in the fall forest and the only fall forest we all know of obviously is in Riften.

So there you have it, the battlefield is set between the dawnguard and the vampires in the eastern regions of Skyrim. Looking forward to battling the dawnguard in the coming dlc and I wish dawnguard champions luck as they try to stop the vampires.

Also during my searches for more dawnguard info I came across this website. In it it tells of someone who got hands-on in dawnguard. Wow that interviewer actually knew what he was talking about, he actually seemed to have played skyrim =D im excited for the recruitment aspect and hopefully its good it'd be cool if you could make companions vampires like you sort of can in the blades (doubt it because you would need to new voice acting but ah well)

Dawnguard all the way! I'm known around skyrim as a notorius vampire hunter. I have their heads on a pike near the welcoming matt of my quaint little house in the woods. I stole it from vampires that I killed in a drak brothehood quest.
Looking forward to joining the dawnguard and saving my Nordic homeland once again.
