Dawnguard Classes

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 2:34 am

So I've decided to use the next to weeks to create and build my two characters who I will use in Dawnguard. For the Dawnguard I'm going to have a Nord focusing on two handed weapons, restoration, archery for crossbows, heavy armor as my main perks and I'll be a werewolf as well to compliment the opposing side. For the Vampire Lord side im using a High Elf so I can use the Vampire Lord magicks a lot and my perks or what I'll be focusing on is destruction, restoration, illusion, conjuration, light armor, One handed, maybe archery and sneak.

So what will your two character types be for the two factions?

Battle mage like characters for both. I usually play that style in one way or another.

I have an Altmer mage that has his attribute points distributed to mainly magicka but some in stamina and health so that I hope he will make and excellent Vamp lord.
And I have a redguard who mains archery who will fit nicely into the dawnguard.

You might want to consider Dunmer for the vampire side.

Does the fire damage help vs the sun?

I think I might ditch the two handed for my Nord Dawnguard and replace it with a one handed axe and add smithing since I want to craft my own crossbolts. Might also changed my vampire character to a Dunmer or a Breton, still haven't decided yet. I forgot about the whole sun bit, unless of course I can actually block out the sun in which case I might just stay with my High Elf. It will be difficult during the main quest of Dawnguard but I'll make sure to have some spell absorption bonuses as well.

For the Vampires I have an Altmer that focuses in all magic trees and alchemy. For the Dawnguard I'll be using my Vamp/Werewolf hybrid that's a sneak assassin focusing in sneak, light armor, archery, one handed, and alchemy.
