Because Beth made this freaking huge advertisemant to release it at the 26th telling no word about exclusive english!
We don't live in the 15th century when someone has to write a book by hand and people weren't able to translate lol... releasing different languages shouldn't be such a problem to delay something 3-4weeks!

FIGS means the french, italian, german and spanish speaking areas WORLD WIDE ;) Only the english version will be available on 26th like they did with 1.6 patch.

How about you join us in the real world for a bit eh? Bethesda have to actually create the content, all the dialogue and all the subtitles. Thats done in English because thats the language Bethesda employee's speak. Once thats done it then has to be translated CORRECTLY for other non-english languages. It takes several weeks because the ENTIRE dialogue has to be redone in multiple languages all at the same time and then vettted for age verification. 3-4 weeks is actually lightning fast for a multi-language translation for a game.

The OP is just pissed because he has to wait a month. Get over it.

Hmmmmm....4 different language voice overs to record, for every line in dlc, rework facial animations to make it look like they're pronouncing the right words, plus translating all the written words, items etc....2 to 4 Weeks doesn't sound too bad actually.....but sorry for your delay :(

UK. But I wont be buying it this month at all, because I have my priorities in the right place and an add-on for a computer game is not something I even care about that much, compared to say my brother in law jumping out a plane for charity tomorrow which is were my spare cash this month went to.

Get over it, its only a bloody game.

Its actually rather easy to do it for games. Is simply a matter of running the dialogue trhough a special software to generate the animation files for the mouth. Movies would require reanimating and re-rendering the entire movie which can take weeks on the rendering alone.

You said it man;)

im sure that Beth is translating it to other languages as fast as they can without the loss of game quality, that being said I understand why the people who now have to wait another month for the DLC are frustrated (assuming this info has just been released) I sure would be. I also think that Bethesda should have prepared them from the get go that they would have to wait longer, instead of this close to release, but thats just my layman oppinion without extensive knowledge of how gamedevellopment and marketing works.

As an aside, the lip synching is done automatically. It auto-generated from the wave form in the audio file (or something like that).
