Dawnguard is going to have a ton of bugs, wait a bit.

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:43 am

I wouldn't even consider downloading it until after a few months. I think the release on xbox 30 days earlier is just a huge beta test for the other platforms, "exclusive for microsoft" ....right.... like I buy any of that.
Don't be fooled, wait a while.

Bull. The PS3/PC release will contain its own unique buggs effecting that platform only. There may be a few bugs found in the Xbox that are universal, but i doubt the developers will fix them all before they release Dawnguard to the other platform.

Most bugs found in skyrim are universal and it gives the devs a chance to fix some of them before its released on all platforms. Its actually a good idea to do so.

We know what the beta is for. We also know that people are still complaining after 5 patches, so..................

^ this
We all know the game is buggy, but it will take time for all bugs to be identified and reported across all platforms. I'm sure the Xbox beta test will root out a lot of the universal ones though.

Is this neccesary? There will be bugs, that is what the beta test is for. Most will be fixed during that time and when it releases for other platforms they will still have bugs.

If you really want to wait for all the bugs to be patched, I look forward to seeing you in 2015. :/

I'll be buying and playing it as soon as I either get the Beta code or when it comes out June 26, regardless of how many bugs are in it. As long as its not game breaking I'm good.

After playing recent Bioware games, in addition to Oblivion and Skyrim, waiting to play games after they've seen a few patches has never seemed more like a great idea. The 30 day exclusive to Xbox 360 really isn't such a bad thing. The forum will be flooded with bug complaints upon release.
