Dawnguard Increase Level Cap?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:48 am

Reading information on 'Dawnguard', something kinda bothered me. Well first i'd like to say Vampire Lords sound RIDICULOUSLY over powered. But, there is going to be a new perk tree, if you select the vampire ability. Does this mean the level cap is going to be higher than 81. This bothers me because I, personally, do not want to play as a vampire lord, and side with the Dawnguard. But, i'm like o.c.d. or something because I always want to be max, like I am now. If it does go up, I'm going to be tempted to pick the Vampire Lord because then i want max level, new perks, and be able to chose Magicka and Heath again. So, is it going up or no........... sigh...?

Nope. To advance in the werewolf and vampire perk trees, you must kill people as a werewolf or vampire. The level cap will not be raised.

You don't have to use level up points to unlock perks. You get points as you use Vampire Lord or Werewolf. Therefore, it probably won't be increased.

Thank you very much, good sir. I feel much better. I'm probably going to play as both of course, but that was bothering me.

The level cap of 81 (and a half) is a result of having 18 skills at 100, so in order to raise the cap, they would need to raise the skill cap, which just wont happen.
