How do you think we will be introduced to dawnguard? do you just reckon it will be a letter from a courier or abduction ala DB? or another completely different method, please post your ideas or theories

Rumor from innkeepers probably.

I remember reading you could hear rumors about the Dawguard and Vamps, and that Dawnguard content would seamlessly incorporate with the world. I'm thinking Kinghts of the Nine style where you are directed to Anvil via rumors.

that would amuse me, innkeepers mentioning offhandedly the appearance of two castles out of nowhere

A dawnguard member in whiterun walks up to you and asks if you want to join the Dawnguard.

Really? I hate it when quests are shoved in my face like that.

that'd be a disappointment, if it were a high keyed random encounter where you see three dawnguards try take down a vamp who bursts into form and its up to you to decide who to help from there dialogue etc. would be nice.

* "Random Vampire" appears,and makes un-comprehensible noise as he stumbles next to the adventurer*

Player: "Ye Gods!" *Arrow is shot and misses by a few hundred feet*
*Adventurer proceeds to curse and stare outrageously towards the homely, pale, and unattractive underling before him*
*Dawnguard shows up and shoots a bolt through the vampire, sending it into fits of screaming and attacking, then dying an unsavory death after killing the locale of rabbits as well, leaving the adventurer alone and frustrated as to find out what just happened.*
