Dawnguard at E3 (your hopes,expectations)

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 12:20 am

Think you add 8 hours to the times posted at Bethblog for GMT(London). That is if my time zone knowledge isn't faulty (which it can be).
7:00pm GMT TES:Online
9:15pm GMT -First Look of Dawnguard
11:15pm GMT-Dawnguard showcase

okay, so what is it for EST

I would like to see an in-depth look at a lot of the new enemies, the trailer showed off some amazing looking enemies, also more of the differences/uniqueness of siding with each faction (apart from the obvious), and a showcase of new weapons, armour, spells and crafting abilities, but honestly i'm just really looking forward to this so any info would be great.

Me too, definitely looking forward to get more footage, infos of the perk trees.

In the trailer you can see the Dawnguard with new armor and obviously the crossbow. Don't be shocked if we see a bunch more . also there is that portal in the trailer. I'm guessing this will have to be the transport for the fortress or even that relm.

If you take european timezone berlin, then the east coast is 6 hours behind and the west coast is 9 hours behind. So the dawnguard stuff will be in the eavening for all europeans.

I want a confirmation of being able to edit my characters look and hairstyle (for consoles). Perk resets wouldnt be so bad either. There are a few I regret taking.

I'm not going to have many expectations at all for this because if I do, I will get disappointed. I always find that expecting tons of fun more than anything makes it harder to get angry if the game or DLC isn't as good as I would want it to be. I'll still have issues with it like anything, but I try not to go into something with high expectations. Especially after the rage I felt upon playing Legendary and finding out it was a very heartbreakingly generic game that made killing demon monsters boring.

At least Dawnguard isn't being named something that makes you expect great things like Legendary was.

That said, I can't wait for some horror themed stuff in Skyrim. I love horror, especially horror from the 1920's - 1960's. Dawnguard is horror themed, which is exciting.

That (change appearance) is already confirmed by info we cannot post here. Perk resets do not fit with this type of game.

And I liked legendary. Generic shooter yea... But it had a good story and was a solid game.

I cannot call it "good" but I enjoyed it.

What if it was just another massive quest across the whole of Skyrim, adding new places?

Like knights of the nine but longer and with an oblivion realm?

That would be awesome

My main request is that I want to have a new area to explore with new villages, new people, new dungeons, new enemies, etc.

Other than that, I suppose any new information really. I'd like more explanation on the barber/surgeon in the ratways, and I'd like to know more about any new feature. Hopefully they will add seasonal foilage.
