So far Ive been seeing dragons pretty frequently on the one character that Ive progressed far enough into the MQ to activate their encounters. But I noticed that strangely enough the town most frequently struck is Dawnstar. Ive killed 4, count em... F.O.U.R dragons in that town.

So far thats 2 in the wild, 1 scripted outside W.Run, 1 scripted on a mountain top and 4 in a village.

Im happy for the souls and epic battles but Im also curious if anyone else has noticed the dragons gravitating towards a particular location. Do they just hate that particular group of sleep deprived peasants? Sure their Jarl is a deluded [censored] but still... I didnt think the dragons were much for local politics so that shouldnt be an issue right? Well... he was a really big [censored]... maybe that has something to do with it. God knows listening to him made me want to murder something.

Oh and I havent just been hanging around D.Star with this character. He travels quite a bit actually so most of the other towns (except for East from Morhol) should be fair game as well.

I agree. Actually, yesterday, 2 dragons at once showed up to brighten my day there. I just thought it weird I'd have 2 in one encounter.

every time visit Dawn star there's a dragon. I must of killed at least 6 or 7 that were just randomly attacking the town.

Yepp, I think I've battled 3 or 4 dragons there myself.

Now I've stopped fast traveling to Dawnstar out of fear that the blacksmith will be killed...there's already one alchemy store that's never going to reopen in Dawnstar thanks to a visiting dragon that followed me into town.

Winterhold and Morthal are two other places that gets a lot of dragon attention in my game.
