Day Count, check. Kill Count, check. Rabbit Kill Count?

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:16 pm

I just noticed that the game keeps track of how many rabbits you kill. Why just the rabbit? Yeah it is a fast little bugger and a pain to finally snag but just wondering, is there something important about this count? Do you trigger something if you kill enough rabbits? Are you rewarded with a rabbit sword? Rabbit armor? Does it summon the rabbit dragon or better yet... yield a rabbit shout?

It's just there for giggles, to see how much of a monster you are.

Because the true enemy of skyrim is the rabbits! Dragons, thalmor, everything is just their pawns. 0.0

Where are they going in such a hurry? Are they Stormcloak spies? Are they delivering classified tactical data to the Thalmor? Or can it be... they run around making fun of me? How dare they! My mother was a saint!

The "Jokes Told" stat was a pretty good indicator of how many times you had attempted to raise disposition through Speechcraft. Bunnies Killed is just for funsies (or maybe how badly you need professional counseling  )

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes.
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses.
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies. Bunnies. It must be bunnies!

When the modding tools come out, somebody is going to do something with this. Maybe it will be me. Who wants a secret unlockable bunny shout that summons 100 hostile bloodthirsty rabbits? :)

it would be fun if you could unlock something after x amount of bunnies killed... but sadly, since we are allowed to use the consol in all TES games, no such secrets would be secret for more than a few hours... That's the downside of allowing us to do what we want :P

In Divinity II there was an easter egg about big bad rabbits : kill enough of them and a monstrous white killer rabbit spawn and attack you..... and this rabbit was dynamite too.

A mammoth size angry rabbit would be fun to see in Skyrim, but i really doubt this will happen.

Do not underestimate the goofiness of the modding community. :) You don't even need to wait for the CK, actually... you can use the console to set a random bunny to hostile and then use setscale to make it humongous. :P

The game keeps track of how many butterfly wings you've plucked as well, but I think it's under a different category than the bunnies.

That is hilarious. I've been trying to use animal allegiance on a bunny while bandits around: "it's got big teeth!'

in divinity 2 when you killed enough bunnies you were attack by the giant killer bunny
which was a pain to kill..and it chased you.. it had something like 5000? hit points
if you were at a lower level, instant death for you
i was hoping for something like this when i saw this here, but nada
