After just finishing the Saarthal quest, I went back to Ur gra swinging wosname; as I entered the college by the bridge there was this dragon,s skeleton with all the mages watching. I also got a dragon,s soul for free. Bizarre, eh ?

So as I have never enchanted anything, what do I do with this soul, can I enchant anything with it, and how does it work ?

Sorry it just that I hack and slash through this game -- I have little knowledge of enchanting, but a dragon soul sounds valuable if only I knew what to do with it .

dragon souls are used to unlock the shouts that the dragonborn can use.

look in magic and then go down to shouts.

there will be all of the shouts that you know.

those that are dull need a dragon soul to unlock.

the amount of dragon souls that you have is at the bottom right.

select the shout that you wish to unlock. it will ask you if this is OK.

choose yes and then you are able to select and use that shout.
