Dead Money - Buy now or wait for patch?

How buggy is it actually on the PC? Should I buy it and play it now or should I wait?

Go for it, I'm on PC and it's not buggy for me. It really is a great DLC, maybe best ever.

Pretty stable for me, and haven't seen any noticeable bugs.

Beyond some weapon bugs (police pistol not being affected by Cowboy or Professional, police pistol having some mesh and texture errors), I've encountered no bugs in Dead Money.

Judging from Bethesda's previous games DLCs will not be patched. But since you are on PC, the community will help you out :)

It runs a lot smoother than the game itself.

I'm about halfway through, I guess. Haven't run into a single problem.

I have a lot more crashes in DM than I did in the wasteland. But overall its not bad its very infrequent. Just be sure to save often (you will have to anyway you will see why, I don't want to give anything away), but yea it is fun and worth the buy. It is a challenge though so make sure your char. is a high level.

The only problem I've seen is that there isn't a way to get the copy of Duck and Cover!.

the police pistol is not a cowboy weapon.

a cowboy weapon is one that will not get you chewed out by every John Wayne devoted fan still alive for including it in a western.

granted the only reason why the Hunting pistol and RS are cowboy weapons is because it uses a "Cowboy era" bullet. <_<

I could be wrong, but I thought all revolvers count as cowboy weapons.
