Okay, so i start up my game save, all is well. Im heading off to the abandoned BoS bunker to begin Dead Money. Unfortunately when I arrive at the door it states that i need a key to open the bunker. I have the radio signal, the available quest and everything in my pipboy but i still cant get in the bunker. Please help, thanks.

And Im wondering maybe if doing any "exploits" :teehee: might have screwed it up some how when i cleared the systems cache.

I'm guessing you have already listened to the signal? If so, you may want to delete and re-download the game again, along with the updates. I tried this for my glitch and it didn't work but you may have better luck.

If you cleared the system cache... make sure that the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1151546-help-with-dead-money/page__view__findpost__p__16914503 for the game has installed.

bahaha,yeah good one g,THE PROBLEM IS THE LATEST UPDATE, to fix i had to delete the dlc,clear sys cache,re dl dlc, load the game while offline,ENter the bunker and most of the floors missing,Save your game,Get the POS patch and your playing again, GOODWORK ON ANOTHER FABULOUS PATCH GUYS!!!! :brokencomputer:

I am playing on Xbox 360, have the DLC and have the current patch. I've selected the quest from my pip-boy and listened to the radio station. The Abandoned BoS Bunker is locked and requires a key. I had the DLC from character creation ~35 hrs and 8 levels ago, had the patch installed when I first put the disc in. Wasn't the DLC supposed to unlock this area again to start the DLC? Is there maybe a level requirement to start this quest? Any suggestions since I can't play the DLC I payed for?

id had to do the same thing where i clear the cache, redownload the dlc but not the update, then you can get in the bunker, but after inside the bunker i wouldnt redownload the patch because i did and once you install the patch on the inside of the bunker you cannot get out (asks for the key again) i figured it would do this though so i didnt go any further and cleared the cache again and the door goes back to being unlocked, but others might not notice and enter the siera madre and if they successfully complete the dlc (however unlikely with all the current bugs) and get to the end they might just find they cant exit the bunker.... so be warned, and avoid the current update and wait for the new one. also the old update made my companions lily and ed-e unable to return the the lucky 38 when i ended their companionship where as they would before
