Is Dead Money scaled to level?

Or should I wait till I'm higher leveled to tackle it. I'm aware the description text says it's preferable to be higher-leveled, but I want to know if there's anything solid to that.

I don't think there's anything scaled in Dead Money.

It's hard to say at what level one should go in really, especially since people are so different and some builds may be better than others. The skill checks are fairly high though as I recall. I think it "felt" pretty good going in at around level 20 myself but you could definitely manage at a lower level.

You'll be fine, I went in their from the start of the game on very hard/hardcoe and came out. Though be warned, it is not very easy. Best to just go in once you hit 35 a for then you'll be better able to take care of your self and combat.

The skill checks are pretty high and the Ghost People have high HP, so I'd say the minimum is level 10 if you want to get the best endings for your companions and be able to use the weapons efficiently.

I don't think it's scaled at all. Unless you know what you're doing in Dead Money, you really don't want to go in at a low level. This DLC will test you. Hard. Make it a *little* easier on yourself and go in at a higher level.

The DLC itself suggests level 20+ but... first time through? Go in at 25.

From what I've seen, the only thing that's scaled are the companions (in fact, they have the properties to scale up to 50). However, it seems that the higher your level, the more Ghost people will appear as the "tougher" variants, like Trappers.

It has to be somewhat scaled because I went through it with a first level character. The hardest part was getting to the bunker alive and still at first level. I came out level 12 or 17.. can't remember.. I haven't looked at the save game awhile.
It was obviously more challenging then going through with my fully leveled character but I still got through .. albeit in a completely different way because my skills were so low.

Alright, thanks for the answers. I had ran through the thing with two of my level 30 characters, and it was a tad easy. But 30 is much higher than 10, which was what I was going for.
