Ok I wanted to share with you a new glitch I came across.
Skjor from the companions questline is...severely glitched.
I completed glory of the dead for the companions and became the new harbinger or should I say...adviser..
As the quest progressed, you should know that skjor the bald dude in wolf armor, dies by the hands of the silverhand AFTER you become one with the wolf spirit. A werewolf in short..
So whats the glitch? Here it is..
According to the wiki who is responsible for taking notes over skyrim glitches and other facts easter eggs etc..it clearly notifies you that skjor MAY be found alive after you have completed the companions questline.
Wether he is on felgows keep where he was found dead.
Or just walking around in the wilderness
Or found dead in his bed at jorrvaskr
OR EVEN found alive and well walking in jorvaskr along with the other companions.
The last one was my case, I was just simply walking around jorrvaskr when i noticed that skjor was happily as ever, just wandering around near aela, farkas, vilkas and the dumner guy. So at one point I was happy to see him..but i quickly changed my opinion on it when he said to me "you still need to prove yourself whelp"
Ummm...EXCUSE ME? I'M THE HARBINGER!
Now i understand..the game has that scripted line because skjor is NOT supposed to be alive to see what happened to you and how you have taken over the position of kodlak..
so I ignored that and accepted a quest from him..appearently the option of "i'm looking for work" was available for him, and he indeed gave me a quest.
To persue a criminal who was walking around the stables of windhelm all the way down to kynesgrove. So i did his little quest and returned to jorrvaskr.
Now I havent mentioned the glitch before..skjor being alive is something the wiki confirmed...but not this what i'm about to say next..
After i completed and ONLY AFTER i have completed the quest for skjor, is that i found this..deadly..glitch..
I returned to jorrvaskr and talked to skjor to receive my reward. Good job said him, and i was off to another job from someone else..and i decided to leave jorrvaskr..but then the game crashed on the loading screen when i was leaving..
I said to myself..( meh this sort of stuff happens, let me restart this again...) so i did just that AND...second crash..
at this point i started doubting..could skjor being alive and doing a quest for him made my game corrupt when i try leaving jorrvaskr?
Indeed it was..i was forced to load a previous game file before i entered jorrvaskr.
I entered again and tried all sorts of tricks.
Went back and forward from the jorrvaskr bedrooms to the main hall.
Killed skjor "no bounty attached" Killed him before and after i accepted the reward etc..
Asked for a new job from him, asked for different jobs from other companions or not accepted any jobs from anyone.
I tried EVERYTHING to bypass this glitch but to no avail, the game keeps crashing everytime i leave jorrvaskr. All because i finished his questline.
Now you would probably say "why dont u load the game before u finished the quest?" I couldnt do that...trust me, between the time i finished it and where i was at, i have done over 6 different missions, the previous save file before i atempted that mission would render me way back and made me lose tons of hours of gameplay action.
So with this said I can only assume 3 things.
1: Thankfully i had stolen the stone of barenziah from kodlak's room otherwise i would be screwed
2: I cant go inside jorrvaskr again unless i save the game before i enter.
3: I can still see every companion and ask them to follow me but only during daylight hours, they usually leave jorrvaskr all of them, to train or sit in the chairs in the back of the building.
With this said i dont lose much, i just wont get the opportunity to talk to the cleaning old lady who tends jorrvaskr anymore. I dont lose much but if you ever see skjor alive AFTER the companions questline "glory of the dead" is complete, do me a favor.

I found him alive sitting on a chair, munching on some bread, calling me a whelp. I stabbed him and he fell through the floor, none of the other Companions even batted an eyelid. Really, you shouldn't have did that quest for him. You were venturing into the realm of bugginess.

true I shouldnt have done that!
but the wiki must be informed of this
They note you "CAN" do quests for him but they do not say that the game freezes when u complete it and when u try to leave jorrvaskr.

Then edit it. Get the info out!
