Deadric weapons not Deadric enough?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:56 am

Deadric armor in skyrim did't have the feel of awsomeness like in oblivion. oblivion for me was a treasure hunt, skyrim you can just make your own that to me looses it's uniqueness.
I'm travelling back to Morrowind here. Oblivion's daedric armor hard to get? I remember Divayth Fyr's pauldrons constantly taunting us all until the expansions came out.
I know what you mean. I think there should've been a quest where you found a Dremora smith or something because Daedric armor is supposed to be forged in the fires of Oblivion itself.

I killed him for them.
Just the pauldrons.

They look awesome, they are more Morrowinds "sinister" style Daedric rather than Oblivions "scary" style Daedric.

I think there should be armour for at least some of the other Lords of Misrule. Dagon gets all the fun.

Technically the Daedric Armor in the games are Mehrunes Dagon armors so yeah their should be different styles for each prince...Sheogorath's would look epic...maybe like a more colorful Madness armor

The problem is the Daedric gear isn't hard at all to get. In Morrowind each piece was hard as hell to find and each weapon was definitely worth finding because it was so powerful, but hard to get to.

The only change I would want would be for the Daedric sword to be a little longer, but otherwise the aesthetics are fine. To me anyways

As far as it goes, I think Skyrim has the best armor and weapons in any TES game excluding Morrowind.

I prefer both the weapons and armors of Skyrim and think they look pretty BA. Oblivion's Daedric gear felt too clunky for me, though the weapons were just fine.

They look fine to me. I'm actually looking foward to outfitting my Nord in daedric armor.

Rather than being able to smith daedric/dragon armor, I wouldn't mind if smithing stopped at ebony, and for the higher quality armor to be a quest reward or something found in a dungeon.

The black , sinister looking , radiate a blood red neon light, and look like king of hells weapon

I think they look awesome. I will concede that the armor design looked more sinister in oblivion, even if the skyrim one looks mucb sleeker.

making it a reward to have deadric makes things better, not just smith it and go

It's actually nice how you can make Daedric armor through the conjuration skill. I agree that letting smithing do it is weird. Also, Ebony is more than enough to play the game anyway, especially considering a smith of that level would improve it so much in the first place.

Agreed. I want bandits, and Braith, to wet themselves when my Nord in Daedric shows up. He will not merely end their lives, but eat their hearts and put their souls in tiny little gems.
