Can you do the quest: "Dealing With Contreras" while Vilified with the NCR, but dressed as a member? :shocking:

I would believe so. I talked to Hsu and Boyd even though I failed "Don't Tread on the Bear!"


If you are vilified, I don't think the NCR does anything about it. I reckon they only attack if you fail the quest mentioned above. A nice NCR Facewrap, Boone's Beret and Authority Glasses will help you get through. When you go to talk to Contreras, just be careful of Ronald Curtis.

I think so just make sure you have an NCR disguise ready to get past the grunts and I wouldn't loiter too long in camp. I'd head straight for Contreas and then exit out the backdoor after your done so that you can fast travel away from McCarren without risking doing back into the base and possibly getting spoted by a grunt.
