Death of a level 49 assassin

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 3:36 pm

I play dead is dead, and unfortunately, not even 5 minutes ago I was attacked simultaneously by two elder dragons. RIP Pugs.

Anyways I got my butt kicked, I play on Master, and I died fighting the good fight. I shouted one down and began firing arrows. Taking breaths using potions, all the sudden I got hit by an overhead breath and was caught completely off guard. Needless to say, two fire breaths from two elder dragons on master = died pretty fast.

So, I shall be trying a spellsword next! Darnoc ( Guy does awesome commentaries for SC2 and Skyrim ). Anyone have any experience with this build? idk if I want to use armor, or rock the Thalmor robes with a sword (the guy from the loading screen looks completely BA with the Thalmor robes + Daedric Sword.

Well i applaude you.

You stuck to your guns and died with a weapon in hand, and a fire in your heart (...literally...)

Anyway, I will make sure to sing songs of the great assassin, Pugs, by the hearthside.

Rest in peace.

And may Sovngarde accept you with the arms of your ancestors.

There once was a mighty assassin called Pugs
Who played through all the Skyrim bugs
He was killed by a dragon's fire breath
And died an honorable death!

RIP Pugs

Next character, rock the Thalmor robes with a sword

hats off to making it that far! I don't play DID, I think if I did, I might run a lot more.

At low levels, even if merely on Adept, you pretty much have to do that while playing Dead-is-Dead. Enchanting for Magic resistance also tends to be a good idea, as well as (if it fits the build to do so) getting all three ranks of the magic resistance perk in Alteration. I typically also go for maximum physical mitigation, although it's not mandatory to do so since there are multiple ways to make sure you don't get hit in the first place.

This is why hippoli is a heavy armor and shield bad-a** you don't take any damage (literally if you get the best legendary Deadric+shield enchants+lord stone) He can take the dragons like a man! Hes basically the same thing as your Mugs is.

Yeah I maxed out resistances and I'm at armor cap, its pretty difficult for Mugs to die. I'm still paranoid of dragons because I've seen youtube videos of them biting onto you and thrashing, leading to death. I would not be a happy camper if my last high level died.
