I need to get through quarry junction so naturally i need a weapon that will take down packs of deathclaws quickly any advice on what i should be packing?

I had difficulty too, with these [censored]ers. Untill I loaded up with a LMG, Assault Carbine, and Mercy, just for if you happen to make it to a high up spot and look down on a group of them.
I also reccomend taking boone, tell him to stay close ffs, And give him the Gobi Campaign scout rifle and a Marksman Carbine.

I never had much luck with grenades/mines and such, but that's because I svck with them. Try to avoid excessive chems, as the withdraw tends to hit at the most distracting and annoying of times.
When you go in, you'll meet a few young deathclaws first of all. From there, you can get round into the quarry simply by sticking to the rocks on the left, which means you're technically safe if they happen to detect you. From there you can make a dash for one of those weird slopey machine thingies (Rock crushers) which are excellent to take pot shots from.
Be carefull, as there are aloooooooooooooooot of Deathclaws hiding out, they tend to lurk near the water just out of your line of view.
