Deathclaw promatorys insanely easy

Post » Tue May 31, 2011 11:42 am

The deathclaw promatory was insanely easy it was a joke and it's meant to be the hardest place in the game and i went there with full hp and left with full hp without taking any damage what a joke. All i done was climb on the ridges and they all went to raul (the 2nd group i easily dispatched the 1st group) 1 Mother 2 Alpha Males 4-5 normal and 2 young deathclaws and about 15 seconds (at most ) of shooting them with the holo rifle and meltdown and they where all dead and raul didn't even die when they all teamed him was way to easy i'm not trying to make out i'm chuck norris the deathclaw eater but holy shizzle.
P.s i was playing on normal i expected some challenge .

Why because obsidian can't fill there map with hard encounters i have to run around with a spear to make up for it?

You could've used weaker equipment. Maybe a combo of Hunting Rifle/Cowboy Repeater and Leather Armor with the Desperado Hat. Or you could do the same thing, but w/o Companions and/or setting difficulty to Hard or Very Hard. Or just don't take a sniping location and just run in there, but in a tactical approach.

Of course Its easy when you stand were they can't get you and let your companion take all the damage. Try putting It on hardcoe and watching your companion get devoured by a pack of deathclaws and never get back up.

hardcoe very hard is easy. I imagine normal is ridiculous.

What level were you? I usually start a new character about 25 'cause I don't really enjoy playing a god.

Ok, so you're playing on "normal", you used a pathing exploit to pick off deathclaws without being able to harm you, you had Raul with you to help, AND you used one of the strongest energy weapons in the game with a perk that allowed it to spread its effective area across the entire pack of deathclaws...

And you were surprised to find it was not difficult?

If I eat large amounts of food and take lots of stims on hardcoe so that you have a massive healing boost, you'll find you're functionally invincible because your buffs outpace any damage output of your foes.

So by that logic, I can stockpile my aid items and therefore render any encounter to be a trivial affair.

Soooo you set up your character to exploit two overpowered features and are now complaining that things are pathetically easy because of it?

My logic co-processor implant crashed and needed a reboot after trying to process that.

Speaking from experience: taking the last 15 or so deathclaws out with one mini nuke does not a challenge make. (seriously did this... what can I say. Maximum Carnage, Minimum Effort)

Try using weaker equipment or going in at a lower level. After about 25 or so things get extremely easy, no matter what the difficulty is. IMO

*shzhhshshshzz* I need a new *shhshazhzhzhsz* temperamental cont- *sshshzhhzshzh* control module *shshshzzzhzhz*

Joking aside, what did you expect, you exploited a pathfinding failure and used one of the best EW with the best EW perk.

"Guy's I turned on godmode and spawned the debug megapistol, and suddenly i can one shot everything and never take damage, this game is insanely easy, gosh, you'd think Obsidian would make things more difficult!"

I try to keep my processors and control module arrays in good hygiene.

The only remotely dangerous part of the promatory is getting in....Dangerous as in you, or a follower, might take some damage. After that it's a turkey shoot.
