So finally Cave is releasing "Deathsmiles" for the Iphone & Ipad.

I rushed to download but it's not up just yet.

Some sites are claiming it's out at some point this June.

Cave's official site is saying "Spring 2011".

Building on what they released for the XBox 360 the game will have an RPG element to it (if having an inventory to manage makes it an RPG) as you can spend your in game earnings to upgrade your characters and get them new stuff.

Like dresses and umbrellas.

The game is finally up on I-Tunes.

They have done a brilliant job of migrating it to the Iphone.

I am so impressed by the faithful rendering of Arcade Mode that I haven't even had time to try out the all new Iphone Mode with new characters and story.

If you've got an Iphone the "Lite" version is completely free so you can sample and be sure if it's the sort of thing you want to throw your money at but I don't think there's a better Game App in the entire store at the moment.
