I keep seeing things like "+2 Rads, +1(5s) HP" and "+1 HP" and "END -1, HP +1(5s), AGI -1" and "CHR+5, PER+2, INT+2" and "AGL-3(1m), PER-3(1m),HP-8(10s)"
I think I understand that m = minutes and s = seconds. But does this mean how long the addition or subtraction lasts? Or how long it takes for the addition or subtraction to take effect? Also, are the minutes and seconds the minutes and seconds in the game or real time minutes and seconds?
I think I understand that where the reference is to a SPECIAL attribute (CHR, AGL, PER, etc), the additions and subtractions are temporary until the aid wears off. Where seconds and minutes are given for these, it is because the effects do not all wear off at the same time
I think I understand that where additions are made to Rads, they are permanent until Radaway is taken or a doctor has done radiation healing.
And I think I understand that where the effects are all negative, they are being applied to the enemy being attacked and not the character doing the attacking (poisons applied to melee weapons for example.)
Can someone shed some more light?
