Dedicated arms and armor room?

So I bought the Riften house, eager to try out the new armor dummies I'd heard about and found I had to buy the enchanting alter to get them. Not a problem but I don't really use it, and it only comes with two dummies and a couple of weapon plaques and racks (that don't work).

I'd love to have more dummies to display armour on. Wouldn't it be better instead of merging them with the enchanting bench have a seperate 'package' for dummies and racks? Ok keep the two with the enchanting bench for people who want that but have an option for a room dedicated to armour and weapon displays.

Is there a technical reason why they can't do that? Is that something people would like? Are there any houses in the game like that already? Might we see something like that in DLC?

I absolutely would love such a thing. I'd like to have an honest-to-God armory in a house, with enough mannequins to display one of each kind of armor, with tons of weapons racks on the wall to hang weapons.

I was disappointed that the house in Solitude only has the two mannequins, and they're in a downstairs room that is supposedly there for you to shoot spells at the dummies, not lining a hallway or armory as trophies, which is what I'd like.

It's odd isn't it. I assume they got the idea from the Morrowind mod, which were intended as displays not spell targets.

I'm sure when the creation kit is out the modders will run loose with this one ... unless you beat them to it by creating multiple dummy racks yourself first ...

Well, while that would be nice I sort of feel like it would be better if they perhaps altered one of the houses via a patch to fix this oversight. Having to spend $$$ to get such a thing would smack of the ol' Horse Armor DLC all over again.
