Deep-In-His-Cups

Deep-In-His-Cups, an argonian adventurer approached me in the wilderness asking for the 10.000 gold coins I owed him. 'Here you go!' - I said, and handed him the money without any questions. A minute later I have already regretted that, and wanted to take my wealth back. He refused to talk to me, so I kept following him. He walked all the way to Riften, entering The Bee and Barb inn. He literally kept standing there for days, it made him so busy that he did not even sleep. My chance to successfully steal the coins was 0%, but I saw no other available option, so I left to make myself a Fortify Pickpocket equipment. That went great, I have increased my chances by over 150%! Rushed back to the inn well-prepared for the theft, he wasn't there. I looked in the city, but he just disappeared. I returned to the wilderness where I first met him, nothing. Deep-In-His-Cups is NOWHERE! He can't get away with this though, no-one hides from me. Especially with that much money! So people, if you have any idea where he could be, please tell me. I'd appreciate any help.

Even though you would find him now, i bet the money would be gone already.

I had a random guy run up to me in the wilderness and hand me something. He asked me to "save it for him" and that he'd be back for it later. I didn't know what he gave me so I just killed him. Meh.

Did you finish Sanguine's quest? He is a random encounter that takes place afterwards. You can either pay him, persuade him to be paid less, or fight him. You might want to load an old save, because you are not going to find him again. :/

@Raok
Oh I love that random event, this one is not that 'random' though. It is caused by a quest, the NPC is named too, and he is probably living his life somewhere... with my money! Only if I knew where...

@Shivani
Are you sure there is no way to find him afterwards? :\

I would also like to know where he went. He said since we were such good friends, I only had to give him 750 gold. I was kind of hoping that I could find him again after he took care of his headache, and maybe recruit him as a follower if it's possible.
