Anyone care to give me some advice? Seeing as I have to put up with the 3 second survival of his dragonbreath since the patch, I might as well give it everything I've got. I'd like to beat the game, but he catches me once and I'm dead. It's faster than I can cast a spell.

Use dragon rend he'll shut up with his breath and turn down the difficulty and bring lotsa potions? Hope it helps

I hid like a coward behind the edge of the word wall and sniped at him with arrows. Alduin always lands in the exact same spot, right in front of the wall.

Still gets a little messy if he manages to make it start raining globs of magma.

Sure it may be faster than you can cast but no dragon can hurt you faster than you can drink a health potion...

Unless of course you're playing one of those kinds of characters that dies if someone sneezes too hard...
