Do you use the staff on him or the eye?

Can you use another weapon to defeat him while using the staff?

Because in trying everything and nothing seems to work!!!!!

You use the staff for a while on the eye when he activates it eventually he'll move away from the eye think you might have to use it a couple of times, can't remember then you can just hack him up or fireball him or whatever you want. =) He has to separate from the eye though

See he's away from the eye fighting the magic thingys and I've been hitting him with the staff plus a sword and a fireball but not so much of magic because it's still at 100 so i don't bother with it because ima newbie and I have no clue about magic but nothing I do seems to affect him!!!

This last time, I didn't exactly see how Ancano died because I was fighting the magic anomalies but I did watch him follow Sergius Turrianus out the door like a blue-tinged puppy-dog and then collapse into a pile of dust. That was satisfying. :tes:

Aww, I would've liked it to happen like this for me as well. I only used the staff on the eye, and before I could even touch him he was already dead due to the anomalies. :sadvaultboy: Those things really hated him I tell you, they didn't even bother attacking me when I tried to slash my way through to Ancano ...
