Im at the collage of winterhold looking for the dude about staff of magnus, but theres this door is you take it leads you out side. but when you out side you cant get back in again because you down a slope you cant climb! You end up on a ledge but only way you can get off it is to glitch it down witch you companion cant hope to catch up with! so now its 3 days latter and still I seen no sings of lyidia so shes probaly still running against a rock. Thanks alot you a***holes cant get another companion because they say some ones already with me! supuse im going to have to load a game save and lose 3 hours of progress!

Fast travel or wait an hour. If your location is accessible for your companion, the wait option works. Otherwise, fast travel back to the college...it will take you to the front gate.

Yeah, when you fast travel your follower should appear. In the future, I'd recommend trying different things out before bashing the game developers. UESP is a great place to go to if you feel like you're stuck: http://www.uesp.net/

Okj thanks for tip was ticked off when posted it, but that exit to skyrim leads onto an inacessable ledge i didunt know it would screw up my game till it was to late to load from an auto save! i tide sleep so maybe wait will work difrently.
