Demo or testing application?

Hi.

My nethew wants the Elder Scrolls's Skyrim for his birthday.
It's ok, but i'm not sure if his PC could run well the game

He prefers the PC version than the ps3 version and it's why i'm here.

Is there anywhere to download a demo of the game or a bethesda testing program to evaluate if game could be played well on a pc?
(official skyrim webpage don't have any download or any help... neither the system requeriments, i only know it for a fan page... T_T)

Thanks.

I used search for demo, download, beta... and i didn't saw anything like my question.

Thanks, but this is why i need help.

PC has 1 GB of shared graphic memory.

I don't know if is enought to play the game, because it is more than minium requerimients but minium, I suppouse, is for a dedicated videocard memory, not for a shard memory.

anyone knows if is anyway to test the game in those pc to know if it works?

There is no demo of Skyrim, but if you ask in the thread I linked to, you will get a definite answer to your question.

Shared graphic memory is a hint of integrated graphics processor, too weak for Skyrim. Even the best integrated graphics from AMD (which is about the only area in which they're ahead of Intel at the moment) can barely run Skyrim at low details and it won't look as good as on a console. I think your nephew wants the PC version because of the added ability to run MODs, or custom modifications of the game, so to speak.

There are 600€/$ laptops that can run Skyrim decently but they don't use integrated graphics.
