Destructoid review what u think?

I am concerned now that the vampire thing will just be an overpowered ank that for es you to swing hands and wings to kill enemies just in an ever constant close combat style...

A little pessimistic... why on earth would a Vampire check his inventory if he technically doesn't even have it? Let alone a map!

He was lucky enough to play it and got all upset over third-person view. Don't cry!

It is still in beta, so animations are likely to be tweaked... I hope so, at least.

I think Destructoid is stupid. They honestly don't know anything about games.

They're focused more on graphics and smooth animations rather than the actual fun and unique gameplay.

I'm taking that review with a hefty pinch of salt - it was quite obvious it was of an unfinished product.

But he made a good point RE the lack of first person, I agree fully there. Come on Beth, just put it in!

*insert generic comment about how much of an idiot the writer is*

Am I the only one concerned about this?

First person werewolves would be hard, with all that camera-bobbing. I think they did it to vampires in the interest of fairness. I don't mind looking at the vampire because he looks cool.
Stronger attacks always take longer to pull off. I think it's a good thing they didn't make him like every other playable race.
One character isn't supposed to complement all build anyway, or else it totally svcks. If I was a mage, I'd have more magicka. If I was a rogue, I'd use its illusions, or not keep running around as a vampire. The reason he had to brute force probably was because he was a default male nord used to 2h and heavy armor.

Why not wait for the DLC and then form your own opinion of it when you play it yourself? If it is really that bad you've still got crossbows and werewolves to play around with, and that's if you absolutely HATE the vampires.

I find they are the opposite, they are a bunch of hipster idiots who love bashing on anything that is popular but if something is made by one guy, it's the best game to ever happen.

Maybe, like I said. I think they're stupid. I've only watched them review something once or twice and they gave horrible reviews.

The guy is a tool and the chick is a ditz. I hate them both. lol

They don't know anything about games. They are stupid. All this because you don't share their opinion on a game they've played and you haven't.

This is like, twice or thrice in the past week they've had a reviewer who hasn't even played or liked the game they are reviewing, and admitted it in the review. THat's just dandy, ain't it?

Because to get there i have to buy it. Good thing i play on PC, there's a month of reading the internets take on it  When you ignore the "best thing ever" and "worst thing ever" extremes, you usually get a pretty good picture of it. And even the distribution of those extremes tells of it's quality

Who said I didn't play the game they reviewed? Because I did. And I completely disagreed with it. They said the game was a " sad excuse " due to it's " rushed graphics " and the animations were " clunky ". That doesn't make a game bad. I've seen other reviews by them with the same stuff pointed out. Video games are suppose to be fun. Not a Michael Bay film. The graphics don't REALLY matter, gaming industries are worrying way too much on that crap.

I and them are talking about Dawnguard. They have test played it. You haven't. You said they were stupid and didn't know anything about games.

It's certainly unprofessional. I mean, what are they thinking? Does this guy even know that you aren't forced to be a vampire?

I wasn't talking about their review on Dawnguard. I was saying I didn't like how they went about their reviews and then gave an example as to why. Which was not relating to this game. Done, don't feel like arguing over my opinion. Really.

I in fact love Skyrims 3rd Person. I play it 100% of the time that way, combat, walking through town, archery

Sounds like a lot of nitpicking in that "review". Pretty much just complaints about the animations and how it doesn't fit every build ever imagined.

"Can't go into inventory or look at map." Really? Why the hell would he? You're in the middle of fighting and he wants to look at his map? Go into inventory to do what? It's not like you can equip armor on him. Get a smarter reviewer, jesus..

I agree.
What's the point of making a cool character, forging him some cool looking armor, and then not even seeing him?
Plus the first person kill cams look horrible.
