[REQ]Detective Mystery mods?

Post » Mon Jul 02, 2012 1:42 pm

I post this in the Skyrim mods section as there is no "all game mods" section, but to be clear, I would like to hear about this in regards to Oblivion and Morrowind mods as well as Skyrim. Does anyone know if there are any (passable - great) mods that involve solving a mystery? By this I mean observe the scene of a crime or similar, find clues, make deductions (preferably not as linearly and with as much of the game telling you the answers as the one in Oblivion at castle Chorrol) and come to a conclusion about the culprit and/or other aspects that are in question. It seems to me like the nature of the free roaming aspect of the games and easy modability would make them perfect for easily creating realistic looking crime scenes. If there aren't any, has anyone at least thought of making one? I actually had a plan in mind for one for Oblivion but I found modding quests and NPC behaviour to be rather difficult, still I might try and pick it up again later.

Personally I'd like another quest like the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Whodunit one from Oblivion.

I'd be interesting if, as you progress through the quest, the NPCs were to be scripted to die one-by-one off camera and you have to find out which one is the killer.
