(What annoys me is Trey Arch have already tweaked Black Ops a few times).
I actually was patient this time around with faulty games, I lent the game to my brother while you guys resolved the issue. My brother called me last night to inform me of a problem he was having, I smiled because I already knew what he was about to say. He only put 22 hours in, I put well over 40 hours I even warned him before hand to make several saved files - his gaming experience ended in Vault 2 right after a hard-locked door. He was super stoked because he had just leveled up and maxed his lock picking before he approached it.
Me? I'm an exceptional gamer and I understand these types of things - I've had plenty of patience dealing with the ups and downs of this video game industry but my brother is the type of guy that picks up a game and if it doesn't appeal to him in his own special way he doesn't play it. Well I can say that you've ruined his perception for the Fallout series as well as Oblivion and that's a shame because we grew through our early years playing the first morrowind editions.
I can say this openly and confidently that I've experienced trouble in Oblivion, Morrowind Scrolls, FO3 and now Vegas and probably more If I had just invested more than 10 hours in the other games, which leads me to believe is that as far as you guys go? 10 hours of testing and insight in your games before you release them? Are you so greedy that you couldn't allow more if any beta testers to help find issues?
I wish that another company would have picked your ideas right from under you guys, and created a suitable playable game. I've had it, the only way you'll get me to play your games is if you send them in the mail with a letter apologizing for nearly a decade of mishaps and let downs. It would greatly benefit you, because if you had sent me a copy of NV before launch I would have sent you a thorough detailed description on everything that caused a disturbance or inconvenience as well as ideas to help improvise your creation.
I'm sure by now the lead developers have stopped reading the forums due to all the spam but I feel its necessary to apply this pressure to let you know how many people you have upset. All of my active friends on Xbox live have encountered the same issue, that's ten people that I know and I'm hardly the diplomat.
I wouldn't be so angry if I wouldn't have checked the "Game Updates" and seen that the latest post was on the 18th and it's entirely a summarized recap of the post on the 5th! HOW COULD YOU BE RUNNING FINALIZED TESTING IF YOU'RE STILL ADDING "TOUCHES" TO THE GAME!?
Why is there even a sticky for game updates when THERE HASN'T BEEN ANY? I find that ironic as well as the name of your franchise, because all it reveals to me is the indeed "Fallout" of your company's name and the overall work ethics of your employees.
Go ahead lock this thread, upon doing so I will have myself video taped returning Fallout NV to my local gamestop for instore credit or I will take the liberty of filming myself using my "IRL" SUPER TECH SLEDGEHAMMER to reduce this disk of [censored] to several thousand pieces with one swing while shirtless so you can see every fiber of rage in my veins and overall body composure so you know how angry I am for paying $60.00 for this utter failure.
I will video response every video uploaded on youtube by your company upon this thread being locked, for my money I did not experience satisfaction now take responsibility and succumb to my last request allow this thread to be open for public discussion it will help keep the spam down and allow me to get some satisfaction in knowing that your website that you pay monthly for is full of rants and raves from unhappy customers that are pissed off that they spent $60 this close to the holidays on a cheaply made material that is collecting dust. In quite possibly one of the biggest letdowns in gaming history, I don't want to see anything from your company in the next E3 how dare you build us up for this obscene game.
Sincerely,
UNSATISFIED
