Did anyone else notice this?

While exploring, i came across a shadow that stood out... Mostly because the shadow is of a fortress that isnt even there, instead there is a mountain in it's place.

Mountain:

It appears at 3-4pm-8-9pm *best to check it on a clear day* and you should see the shadow clearly on the snow, the shape is of a quite large fort, flags and everything, yet the location it is being cast from is just a plain old mountain. There are no forts of it's size in the area.

Your thoughts?

Maybe they decided that they had too many forts and took one out, but forgot the shadow.

Me neither. But my guess is that the fort is not within your view range, so although you see its shadow, you don't see the fort itself.

Was hoping that one of the pictures would be of the actual shadow.

Ah, this is where all Thalmor funding is kept to fund operations in Skyrim. Even when found, it is still hidden.

Ahh, but it has now been found and as a thief I cannot resist my need to see what riches you have horded away. Once the kiddies are down 4 a nap I shall visit the location and see if I can see it.

I think you need to give us an overhead TFC pic to see what you are seeing.

This. I'm not entirely sure what you are looking it. If you wanted to show us the shadow then next time, take a screenie of the shadow and not the mountain in question.

There we go.

If you have low graphics on your pc, you will not see the flags ect, everything needs to be at max pretty much.

Moderators don't have systems that are any more "correct" than ours, haha.

It really dosen't look like a fort's shadow. But .. it's does look strange. Nothing like a mountain shadow.

The screenshots do not do it justice, it is best to view it on your own game.

I would frap it, but i would have to lower the graphics since my fps cannot cope with fraps on, but if i did that some of the shadows will not show up.

I remember running down the mountain and seeing the shadow of the fort/flags and was like o_O i don't remember running past a fort, then i looked to where the shadow was being cast from only to see a mountain... Soo....... Yeah
