Did anyone meet this guy?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:29 pm

When I first got this game, on one account in Dibellas temple, a guy came up to me saying we had the same goals or something like that, and I was able to recruit him as a follower, but I can't remember his name or why he was there or anything.

He might not have been anything to do with Dibella, but I just really wanna find out who it was.
If it helps he wasn't very helpful, all he did was follow yuo and punch enemies.

Was it Degaine? A begger that wants you to break into the temple and steal a statue.

Yeah, he follows you to the sancuary for the Temple quest. He helps you once their depending on how you choose to play out the quest. He stays at the sanctuary if you pick a certain path.

It took me like 3 tries to get him all the way to the sanctuary. But was worth it.

The quest is the one where you have to find the "Nettlebane" dagger first.

You get the quest from the priestess of the temple in Whiterun.

That's the temple in Markarth. he's talking about Whiterun.

The quest ends much better if you have him with you... It works out better for everyone. And its more peaceful. If you can, try to get him there in one piece. I went and cleared the way before i got him. Lol.

Edited for spelling...

That's exactly what I did too. I felt it was worth it. I loved having the option to accept his peaceful way to resolve this quest.

Yup, if you want to take him it's better to find it first on your own, then go back with Nettlebane to the priestess, pick him up and fast travel. He's a pain in the bum to keep alive.
