Did Dragonborn fix any glitches? (Restoration Dupe)

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:16 pm

I was wondering if Dragonborn fixed any glitches, more specifically the restoration dupe. As i have tried a few times and it has not worked but the first time, everytime afterwards the dupe does not grow stronger.

Anyone having any problems with this? I want to make a very powerful ring/necklace to make up for my dunmer outfit. :/ it's cool but 75% magicka regen is weak compared to the 100-125%.

I doubt it, patches fix glitches, DLC just usually make more glitches and bugs.

Isn't it the restoration "loop" exploit?

Anyhow, I haven't tried it in ages since that trick outlived its usefulness to me but I'll try it out later to see if it still works for me since you brought it up.

Fun trick. I hope they haven't fixed it. Good for when you just want to do a bit of roflstomping.

Has anyone tested it yet? I still couldn't get it to work...

maybe it doesn't work when you're in Solstheim? Maybe it's a skyrim glitch only?

The restoration glitch is still there and works fine.

Yep I'm still using it also.

I don't see why they would take it out anyways.

It's like a little flap of skin.

The glitch is mainly used to raise the enchantment % when one is enchanting items through the use of alchemy and enchanting. How high depends on high high one wants to raise it.

I tried the restoration enchanting loop for the first time, with Dragonborn:

So no, it was not fixed.

However, I rapidly saw how unnecessary it was. I also would get them so high that I had a "wrap around thing, with
the enchant/damage going to like negative billion and something.

It still kills, if that's what you're asking.

I did that once to a ring (+health) then Whirlwind Sprinted off of Throat of the World. Was weird hitting the ground after a 30 second fall with just a "hmpf" before dusting off my shoulder and walking it off.

Still works for me too, with all DLC in XBOX 360. The only thing I regularly use it for is so I can carry lots of stuff. Boots with muffle and fort carry up to about 7k or so. I also create a Circlet with like 9k magicka and 9k% recharge purely for experimental purposes only.

It's always possible when the harmless glitch fixes are priorities over quest breaking ones.

Ditto on both accounts. Helped a good deal when going back to level the mage skills.

Alchemy; levels in a snap.
Smithing; levels in a snap.
Enchanting; forget it, takes forever
