Did my patch not patch, or is the patch broken?

Here's the list of bugs that are supposedly fixed by the patch:
- Companions now show up as waypoints on the map
- Companions will always fast travel with you, unless told to wait or sent away
- Crafting menu should filter valid (bright) recipes to the top of the list
- Fix: DLC error/save corruption
- Fix: Stuttering with water effects
- Fix: Severe performance issues with DirectX.
- Fix: Controls temporarily disabled after reloading Cowboy Repeater while crouched
- Fixed crash using the Euclid C-Finder while having the Heave Ho perk
- Fix: Entering the strip after Debt Collector causes crash and autosave corruption
- Fix: Using Mojave Express dropbox can cause DLC warnings
- Fixed crash when buying duplicate caravan cards from a vendor in a single transaction
- Fix: Sitting down while looking down a weapon's ironsights leaves player control locked
- Fix: If a companion is knocked uncon. with broken limbs they stay broken on respawn
- Fix for varmint night scope effect persisting in kill cam.
- Fix for giving companions armor that adds STR does not increase their carry weight
- Fix NPC Repair menu displays DAM as DPS
- Having NPC repair service rifle with forged receiver decreases CND.

Here are the ones I have experienced and eagerly awaited the patch because of:

- Fix: Stuttering with water effects
- Fix: Controls temporarily disabled after reloading Cowboy Repeater while crouched
- Fixed crash when buying duplicate caravan cards from a vendor in a single transaction
- Fix: Sitting down while looking down a weapon's ironsights leaves player control locked

There was stuttering when I used an NVidia card, but not with the new ATI one I got.

My controls are all disabled after reloading anything that reloads 1 round at a time while moving, while crouched, and maybe always with the hunting shotgun. Also if you don't have enough rounds to load fully you just perform the reload animation forever.

Duplicate caravan cards still cause a crash. And I don't write them all down. And can you just turn those into a "keyring"? Annoying having them all at the top like that.

Ironsights are screwed up half the time, and sometimes the gun doesn't sit in the corner when at rest, it floats up to the top of the screen.

BUT! I know that some of those fixes worked. I can see my followers on the map. I can see all you guys know the deal, but I cannot find the explanation of how the fixes sit at the moment. Did they actually fix these things? Am I alone with some sort of corrupted game?

Stutter is likely always going to be there. They can make it better, but I doubt they'll be able to eliminate it entirely.

Fix for the Cowboy Repeater broke all the other single bullet guns. Including the Cowboy Repeater again. Current workaround is to click the Ironsights button when finished loading and see if your controls are frozen, if they are click the fire button once.

Caravan Cards are fixed, but you need a "base deck" for them to be inserted into. You get one from Ringo in Goodsprings. If you don't have that base deck, it might still be broken.

Ironsights seem fine to me, except the occasional wander to the bottom of the screen during an idle. I thought it was the Readius mod, so I've removed that but haven't tested it yet.

Accuracy of both leaver-action weapons and revolvers is very suspect currently. The guns have a nasty habit of shooting way, way high in both VATS and free-aim mode. More so when shooting from the crouched position. Missing 5x 95% VATS head shots in a row for no good reason (i can buy one but not five), or shooting ceilings in free-aim, is not uncommon.

I wonder if it's connected to the animation strangeness you get when creeping around in the crouched position with guns drawn. The gun vanishing from your view then returns from the top of the screen.

Oh, and the last PC patch added more bugs than it fixed.

Wow I was getting angry how I am having trouble updating my game but screw that. The cowboy repeater problem is what makes me mad, I stopped played on PS3 to avoid dumb bugs but this doesn't happen on PS3!!!

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if I was alone. I will await the patch and continue to play it like I've been playing it. WIth that extra click after I reload.
