So, did you kill nazeem?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 11:27 am

I did. He insults me on not going to the cloud district, and I'm like, [Censored] I killed the emperor, the leader of a rebellion, I have the soul of a dragon, I went to sovangard and back, and I killed more dragons than you have insulted people in your life!!!

So I killed him with my fine sword and made him my dead thrall, and left his ashes in the cloud district. I had his soul in a gem and sold it.

Who else killed him?

Nazeem who? My Dragonborn has better things to do than worry about dogs who are all bark and no bite.

Nah.... he's the itch that you don't scratch. While I dislike him intensely, it's simply below my toons to kill him.

The itch untouched becomes more annoying, wanting you to scratch it. It is involuntary for some, to scratch away the itch, making it go away.

I'm far older than that.... Of course, that I don't spend much time in Whiterun helps. Not to mention that I have voices turned off.

Nazeem isn't important enough to bother. He isn't even aggressive, just clueless.

If I killed every incompetent fool that talked down to me, why every hold would be littered with bodies. Of course I think about it whenever I see the fool, but I won't waste MY time spilling his filthy blood on my fine robes. However, my ruthless followers might not have had enough practice with a shiny Dragon Priest dagger..... I do like how you made him your thrall and destroyed him in his favorite place. Now he can talk about the cloud district forever with Sithis, Namira, or some evil being.

I've made shoes out of his soul. Called them 'The Walking Cloud'.

How much gold will it cost to buy those shoes?

Nah, let him live in his Nazeemland where he is the mightiest and most successful.
The most I do, with some characters, is give him a good punch in the face if he upsets the people of the market too much, then pay the measly fine.
I think it's more satisfying to meet him afterwards and hear him say "have you come to bully me again?" "I have been beaten by worse than you", or something along those lines.

Actually I never have. Think I'll throw on my morally questionable assassin tomorrow and remedy that. Just throwing this out I've never seen him in the cloud district just the marketplace

Personally think Heimskr is worth killing.

No. I stripped him butt-naked a couple of times though. It's too bad that he resets his inventory every once in a while.

Ooooh awesome. I accidentally shot that wandering minstrel when I thought he was a bandit, and he gave me that line when I met him again yesterday. I thought he was glitching at me, but if that's supposed to happen then I know what I'll do with Nazeem as well. :)

Never had the urge to kill him either. He doesn't even bother me.
Actually, I think I'm one of the few (or only one?...) that likes his speech when he gets to "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North..." and when he talks only about Talos etc, not the political part.

It not that I hate I just like the comedy in his death. Not to mention the challenge.

I believe I've killed Nazeem on almost every single one of my characters.

My new Khajiit hasn't yet, because he rarely visits Whiterun for any legnth of time, and my politician hasn't, because he's not the type that would.

I've always followed the self imposed rule in TES to never kill anyone unless they attack or I am quested to do so. Much less broken quests that way.

Same. Although I do slip him the occasional paralysis poison when he's in the middle of trash talking someone. I should use the Fortify Restoration exploit to make a super strong paralysis poison to slip him so he'll be on the streets for days. I think it'd be funny.

This is actually a habit for me but I see killing that Heimskr as a public service :P

I left him alone for the most part on my characters. One day, while playing my orc, I just snapped and went completely postal on him and the fifty or so guards that spawned over the course of ten minutes.
