Did you stick with a stone for the game?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:03 pm

Bit of an unintentional play on words there with stick and stone.

I stuck with the Steed Stone for the entire game and never activated any more after that, purely for my daedric armour weightlessness and increased carry weight.

I did not even activate a stone for the first 30 or 40 hours of the game. I am not sure what Stone is currently activated on my character. Sometimes I just activate one as I walk by, most of the time I ignore them.

I started off with Warrior, but no, I have a whole "lost" Daedric, werewolf, and magic dabbling period, so use the Lover's stone. Then get my [censored] together and go back to warrior.

i used the first three almost exclusively when i'm leveling, after that i go with atronach or steed, they seem the most useful. think i'll use the lord for my next character i'm going lord from the begining, the armor would be the most useful when i need all the protection i can get

Always one of the first three you encounter.

Usually always go with Steed cause I tend to go with heavy armor more, until I get to 70 HA anyway. After that...normal 20% stones I think. None of them are that good. :\

Warrior stone until I max Smithing. Mage Stone until I max Enchanting. Then Lord Stone for the rest of the way. Usually don't bother with Alchemy.

Same except I focused on light armor early on before finding this stone other wise I would have gone heavy armor as well.

I used the Thief stone first, but as soon as I found the Shadow Stone I switched, and never changed it again. I always used the The Shadow Sign in Morrowind and Oblivion, not really a fan of the Stone Concept

I stick with lover stone all the time, don't much care for having any of the others. It's needed, especially if you're a one handed character who needs to train 2 handed.

I don't use any of them any more - until I get around to running up to Solitude at which point I go grab the Steed Stone. I gave up the +% to level stones because you level too fast anyway, and those stones just make it CRAZY fast....

The steed stone is so amazing with warrior-type characters, and I guess they're pretty useful for other characters as well.

I picked the thief stone in the beginning and haven't changed it. It's worked well enough so far.

I completely missed the Guardian stones the first time I went by the Embershard Mine. I took the Mage stone first, but am now using the Steed Stone.

I usually go with Thief to start but once I get the Steed stone I stick with that.

Shadow stuck with the Lover's Stone since he's a werewolf and it offsets the penalty.

Most of my guys use either the Warrior or Thief Stone though.

I was using the Ritual Stone for awhile cuz it's badass, but i tend to forget I have the ability, and when I have enough corpses around me to raise an army there's usually nothing left to kill anyway.

You can get it to 95% if you take the alteration perks.

I love the Ritual Stone power. Seeing every dead body of any level rise up to fight for you is just so....cool.

Can't remember which of the first 3 I used, but after exploring more I used the one that effects all skills a little, The Lady Stone, and then The Steed Stone which I've stuck with for quite a while.

I always run for the Atronach stone if I'm a Breton for the once a day total magic immunity. For any other race, it depends on the build although I guess I'd consider Atronach to be my default stone.

I always pick one of those three on the way to Riverwood at the beginning, but I've never changed it. It is just really hard to see their effect at all in the game so I have no incentive to change them.

I supposed if I was trying to play some maxed out character I would seek out a certain one to use, but I never play that way so their overall bonus to me in pointless.

I've always picked the most appropriate stone from the Guardian Stones, and stuck with it. None of the other stones confer anything worth bothering with.

I started with Warrior stone, but my one-handed is at 95 or something. I saw awhile back that I didnt need to really boost that leveling anymore, so I switched to the Lord stone for extra armor + magic resistance. I too did the book of Love quest to perma boost Mag resistance further.

I considered the Steed stone, but I'm already so wealthy, I don't really need to carry 100 pounds of more junk to sell.
