DidI screw my self over?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 6:37 pm

So in order to cure my self of werewolf-ism, I have to bring one of the companions who wants to cure himself too to Ysgramor's tomb and cure us both. Well, the two companions who do (Farkas and Vilkas), I made them become members of the blades. Apparently, when they signed the oath, that got rid of they're werewolf-ness and they don't have the option in either of their dialogues to go to Ysgramor's tomb.

The reason I want to cure my self is because I want to become a Vampire again and be ready for Dawnguard, and I need another companion to cure us both with the witch heads, but neither of them want to anymore.

I fixed it.

Do they have the option looking for work.

Yes, but when I ask them, they just have the normal jobs about beating people up and killing animals. And yes, I did do a bunch of those quests for both of them already.

You don't have to take them I don't think. I just when myself and threw one of the witch heads on the fire and killed my own wolf myself. I had extra witch heads though.

Did you do it right after Kodlak did it? If you leave the tomb and come back you need another companion to cure.

Also you can't just throw a witch head on there, they're quest items so you can't drop them.

I can't remember it was too long ago. Hope you find an answer.

Alright try this recruit Farkas as a follower and return to Jorrvaskr, fire him and then ask for work. You could also try some work for Aela first and see if that clears it up.
