I got to thinking, (maybe i′m the dragonborn and i just don't know it yet) cetain speech interactions should variate depending on race, for example it should be easier to persuade someone of your own race, Nord brotherhood, seeing as Skyrim is filled with racism, or for example, intimidation should be easier as an Orc than as a Bosmer. The supposed "strong women" of skyrim should see their bravado decreased in the face of an Orc (mal or female) and scoff in the face of an elf or imperial.

Let me suggest a new thread title, "What if player race affected speech/persuasion? "

I have noticed that people are friendlier to my Nord than to my Dark Elf character.

They were not rude to my Dark Elf, just not as friendly.

This would be a cool wrinkle on the game. However, the Speech craft skill would need a re-vamp to balance this. First thing they would have to add back is Persuasion, Intimidate, Bribe and possibly something else as long as it is not Taunt. That way a character could overcome or work with, their racial responses.
