Ive been editing the script fro the Lucky 38 to add a few more levels, but when im done and go to save nothing happens, the editor does alittle momentary pause then goes on like before. I go to close and the save prompt appears, i click yes and nothing happens. It pops up again and again, i finally click no. None of my changes have (obviously) been saved and i dont know what to do?

Do i have to change something in the GeckCustom.ini file or am i just incompetent?

Theres an error of some sort in your script, however the geck did NOT ship with the feature that will tell you where/what that error is when you attempt to save it. Download the GECK PowerUp http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36290 for several fixes for the geck, including compiler warnings.

Please download geck powerup from newvegasnexus and then you will be able to see syntax errors. Your script has a syntax error, but geck will not tell you, and you cannot save a script with syntax errors. Edit: ninja'd!
