That reminds me: Digimon is different from most shows because the main characters keep growing up. Look at Pokemon where Ash has been 10 years old for about 12 years now, and then Digimon where the main cast keeps growing up and getting replaced by new kids.
That's true for seasons 1 and 2, but season 3 pretends that seasons 1 and 2 are TV shows/video games (funny, right?) and is radically different. For example, when a digimon would die, your digimon could absorb its power rather than letting it turn back into a digiegg D: Season 4 kinda returned back to like seasons 1 and 2 from what I saw, and then once agains season 5 was a big WTF has nothing to do with anything beforehand.
To me it felt like the writers never knew what to make digimon into, so just took a shotgun approach with the different seasons.
Anyway, back to season 1, Izzy was awesome. :mohawk: Man, I should have realized back then with how cool Izzy was that I was destined to be a nerd, so much time could have been saved
